At its core, SipSafe is a youth-led initiative that is rooted in the belief that health awareness must begin at the community level. The project thus seeks to bridge existing gaps in prevention, knowledge and care by focusing on the everyday realities faced by women and making health information not only more accessible but also understandable, practical and relevant to their lived experiences.Â
SipSafe thus aims to compile a combination of efforts in addressing the problem at hand; specifically through simple educational resources, community-based outreach, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Via initiatives such as beginner-friendly health booklets, bilingual information material, interactive awareness sessions, and a health camp, the project hopes to encourage and support women to recognise risks early, adopt safer practices, and make informed health choices within their households and communities.
