Founder of SipSafe, Farah Doctor is a dynamic young student at Bombay International School where she’s currently studying subjects like biology, chemistry and math at the higher level as part of the IBDP curriculum. Curious by nature and deeply inclined toward the sciences, she has consistently sought opportunities to understand how knowledge about medicine goes beyond textbooks and creates real-world impact. This is evident via her pursuit of hands-on exposure through experiences such as interning at the Serum Institute, where she gained insight into vaccine development, quality control, and clinical research, as well as participating in field visits and coursework related to public health.
Alongside her academics, Farah has also been actively involved in peer mentorship within school, language learning and Yoga. Experiences that have strengthened her sense of discipline, empathy and responsibility. Growing up in Mumbai and witnessing the health challenges faced by underserved communities is what led her to want to address how awareness and prevention could be made more accessible at the ground level. SipSafe was born from this very curiosity and concern; a way for Farah to combine her interests and promote safer practices simultaneously, one drop.. or as in this case.. sip at a time.
